Mountain Cup in Lapis

These cups were inspired by the Chisos mountains in West Texas. The glaze gasses off in the kiln and leaves a faint glow of orange at the edge of the glazed like, giving a sense of the sun setting over the mountains. The bottom half of the cup is bare stoneware clay.
