Emmer & Rye

Emmer & Rye is a Michelin Green Star restaurant in Austin, known for its seasonal, locally sourced menu and in-house milling of heritage grains. The kitchen operates with a daily changing format, requiring flexibility across both plating and service.

In collaboration with their team, a collection of custom tableware was developed to support this evolving menu. This includes 9.5" “blates” - a hybrid bowl/plate designed to hold composed dishes with both structure and fluidity, as well as 11" serving platters for large format proteins such as their half chicken, and wine coasters for tabletop continuity.
